Is your destination wedding here in Vancouver and you need help? Our couple, Erika & Michael, currently live in Australia. Over the course of one year, we helped plan their wedding through phone calls, text messages, and meetings with Erika’s friends and family who reside here in Vancouver.
It’s official…we love mountain weddings! We love the anticipate of that spectacular view as we climb our way to top to get to the ceremony. We love the fresh air and breathtaking views – especially of the city. Visiting Coola and Grinder is one of our favourite parts at the Grouse Mountain – The Peak of Vancouver.

“The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry”. That famous quote rings true and if there’s one thing we have learned from all the events we’ve done, it’s that all the planning in the world cannot stop Mother Nature. She will sometimes remind of us of her power – usually at the worst possible times. This is why we always have a back-up plan, a rain plan, a snow plan, a hail plan, because, hey, sh*t happens!
So, personal story first. Kate-Lynn and I (Tarina) met in elementary school! (Gilmore Elementary to be exact). Who knew you could meet your planner so early in life!
Flash forward some years late, Kate-Lynn was engaged to Matt! Through the magic of Instagram, she messaged my childhood and best friend Sarah asking if I had a wedding planning company. Sarah confirmed, we than connected by sliding into each other’s DM’s and the rest was wedding history planning!
